Does any VTers know the name of the flame torch holder in the slide show above and in the video clip (link below) ?   I have some names but am not very sure to caption the photo so if anyone of you can let me know I'll re-edit the clip. Thanks in advance!

  •  Thank you to the mayor of Montreal, Mr. Gerald Tremblay for his kindness in providing us this exclusive interview despite his hectic schedule.

•  I know that Montrealers are nice and in the second thought, they are extremely very nice indeed.  I can not at the same time video tape and take pictures during the Olympic Torch Relay so during all the time I just asked people around me and they warmly accepted to shoot these pictures.  On behalf of all the VTers, thank you to all the Montrealers who gave me their offer to take pictures in order to tape the event.  Without you we don't complete those memorable pictures.

•  I would like to acknowledge the Hellenic Community of Montreal for giving me all the facilities to be in the security zone. Also thank you to all the young Canadian-Greeks who were present at the Saint-Joseph Oratory, you are all warm and nice.

•  Also thank you to all the VTers who voted for my post.  Your interests are overwhelming.

( Picture 1 to 4 )  Sherbrooke St. East overpass above Berri St.  - Thanks to a young lady name Judith who offered to help me take those shoots.

( Pictures 20 & 21 )  Corner of Van Horne Av. and Stuart Av.  - There was a lady with her small baby in her hand. She took this picture and just handed the camera back to me than rushed to leave while I still tried to tape from behind the flame's relay runner.  I didn't have a chance to ask her name. A big thank you to her as well.

( Pictures 22 to 37 )  Those pictures were taken under and on the Van-Horne overhead above St-Laurent Boul.  A young man with a backpack passed beside me so I asked him if he can give me a hand to take pictures. He first looked at his watch and say: "I have to rush to the Metro station (subway) to catch my bus in Longueuil (going out of town) if that doesn't take too long he is willing to help.  Finally he stayed for more than 10 minutes.  It was a very remote area where we posted to take those pictures.  There were no people around except us. His name is Nicolas. I offered him a drive but he declined and say he has still enough time to catch his bus. - Thank you very much Nicolas.

Now I am convinced that Montrealers are really very nice people indeed.  A big thank you to them all for their kindness and giving us nice pictures of the Montreal Olympic Torch Relay.
