OUR SEARCH IS ON FOR THE NEXT QUEEN OF THE WORLD
CANADA FOR 2005.
Do you like meeting people and
having the chance to represent Canada in the
Queen of the World finals in Munich,
Germany?
This wonderful opportunity will be yours if you
fill out the application form.
The candidates we are looking for should be
those beauty delegates who have won at least 2
or more local pageants and have experience in
different beauty pageants in their community.
The ideal candidate should also come from the
ranks of fashion models and advertising and has
a knack for press and television appearances.

BON VOYAGE ANNA!
Our Canadian Queen
flies to Munich April 19 via Air France to join
bevy of beauties from all over the world for the
finals of the Queen of the World. The two
weeks up to the finals set on April 30 will be a
whirlwind of surprises, tv and press appearances
and meeting friends and dignitaries for Anna.
Good luck to you Anna, be the best you can be,
we're proud of you, and wish you Godspeed for this
exciting adventure.
The Queen of the WORLD Now SET in April 2004
We are pleased to announce that
this year's contest is now scheduled in April
2004 in Munich, Germany as announced by the Queen
of The World pageant. To represent Canada for this
year is our winning candidate Miss Anna Pizyo from
Mississauga, Ontario a multi-talented young lady.
She will be traveling to Germany to join the rest
of the world delegates for the Queen of the World
competition. We all wish her the very best
of luck at the pageant. We are sure she will
represent Canada in this world pageant with
success.

Montreal 25 January 2003
QW Canada arrives back to
Montreal from the January 24th pageant at
Düsseldorf, Germany with a fourth place finish.
Her mom and boyfriend met her at the airport the
day after the competition. WELL DONE.
Now the next year's search
for the candidate to represent Canada is on. Nhon
Te, QW Canada Director is happy with the placing
in the QW finals. "It's a good start considering
we are on our first year of participation. Next
year will be a good time to bring home the bacon"
he said.

Montreal 17 January 2002
Angeliki flies to Düsseldorf, Germany by LUFTHANSA
on January 17 for the pageant. Coincidentally,
Angeliki will be celebrating her birthday during
the pageant surrounded by beauty delegates from
around the world.
We are wishing her the best of luck and all the
best for the upcoming pageant.

Montreal 12
January 2003
Miss Canada QW Angeliki Lakouras had a meeting
with Nhon Te, QW Canada National Director this
weekend to double check that all the Queen of the
World requirements are met. Angeliki
personally designed the traditional native costume
she will wear for the QW pageant. To add more
flair for her costume, she sought the services of
Malabar Costumier of Montreal which supplied
the materials.

Lakouras, who stands 5' 9 ½" previously
represented Canada in major international beauty
contests. She is also a former Miss Greece
Montreal. Very determined and down to earth
with fashion design as her main interest, she
regularly travel relating to her work.
She strongly believes in family values playing a
key role in an individual's growth and career.
Angeliki comes from a traditional family in
suburban Montreal where she is currently pursuing
her studies.
